Acerca del evento
Nonpartisan Nebraska is hosting a community meeting in Kearney to discuss the urgent need for citizens to organize in defense of Nebraska's nonpartisan Unicameral Legislature.
Nebraska has enjoyed the benefits of the only unicameral legislature in the country and now partisans are gearing up this January to undo key provisions that keep the legislative process free of formal party control. Everyday Nebraskans need to be aware of this threat and organize NOW before it's too late.
The event will be hosted by Nonpartisan Nebraska executive director, Nathan Leach of Kearney, who will present on the work of Nonpartisan NE and the importance of our unique legislative system. Coffee will be provided. This event is free and open to the public.
